Scripture Harmony is like building a cathedral over thousands of years

The harmony of Scripture is no less remarkable than if forty people separated by different cultures, languages and a thousand years felt individually compelled to build pieces of some amazing project. OT Slavery and deliverance are like modern bondage to sin and Salvation 1875 BC to 1445BC

God told Abraham his ancestors would be enslaved and mistreated for400 years and would then be freed and inherit a great possession (2080 BC;Genesis 15:14-15). Moses later led the people out of Egyptian bondage (1445 BC). For 400 years the people died in bondage and would have continued to do so without God’s Passover deliverance (Those passing under the blood of the sacrificial lamb over the doorposts in Egypt, were “passed over” by the Angel of Death, while the firstborn of other households in Egypt died)(Exodus 12:7-13, 23, 29)

NT Sin Bondage and Salvation Parallel: People are enslaved (in bondage) to sin from birth until they are freed by Jesus Christ (“the Savior and Lamb of God”) who sets the captive free from sin and death (John 8:31-32). All who believe God and trust Christ are covered by Christ’s (The lamb of God) blood and escape Spiritual death, passing into eternal Spiritual life (John 1:29). Without a saving belief in Jesus Christ,people die in their sin (John 8:24).

The New Testament affirms the Old Testament

There is no “angry God of the Old Testament and loving God of the New Testament.” God is timeless and unchanging. Jesus Christ and His Apostles directly affirmed Old Testament Scripture 300 times, showing God’s Old Testament’s authority in New Testament times and today. Almost ten percent of the New Testament alludes to Old Testament teachings. Jesus Christ repeatedly affirmed the timeless, unchanging harmony of Scripture:

Christ’s Parable Teachings, Life and Miracles are seen in the Gospel writings of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. All events and teachings in the life of Christ were “parables” because, while they pertained to events two-thousand years ago, they are also applicable to all people of all times. The Bible writers knew they were writing the divinely inspired words of God, but not that their writings were in harmony with many other Scripture writers, or that they would survive thousands of years and influence billions of people. But, God knew!

Only computers could detect a half-million cross-references

Twentieth Century Computer technology has uncovered a previously unseen harmony between 340,000 cross referenced themes, words, events and people. Bible Hub’s multi-Version Bible Concordance claims 564,640 entries from 29,275 words indexed from 12 translations (including Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance). Modern computers have also detected an inexplicable hidden harmony of numeric and word patterns. There is simply no rational basis for any notion that Scripture was compiled or altered by “ignorant, superstitious ancients.”
