Odds against any one person fulfilling Messianic prophecy are Astronomical!

In his book, “Science Speaks – An Evaluation of Certain Christian Evidences,” Professor Peter Stoner mathematically calculates the probability of any one person in history accurately fulfilling only eight of Scripture’s 300-350 Messianic prophecies at 1 in 1017 (10 with seventeen zeros!). The probabilities are so astronomically impossible, the mathematical calculation of the odds of the remaining 290 to 320 prophecies is pointless and unnecessary

Boundaries of Israel

1300-1100 BC: -Boundaries of Israel; Promised land of Canaan established

Boundaries of Canaan (modern-day Israel) established by God and given to Israel .
1948 – Israel re-established as a nation within its Biblical boundaries – in one day after being dispersed for nearly 2,000 years

ISRAEL

1500 BC: Future exile and captivity of Israel

“You will have sons and daughters but you will not keep them, because they will go into captivity.” (Deuteronomy 28:41 – NIV)

FULFILLMENT:
722 BC: – Assyrian conquered the northern kingdom of Israel and took the people into captivity.
• 587 BC: – Babylon conquered the southern kingdom of Judah and took the people into captivity. (2 Kings 11; 24-25

ISRAEL

650 BC: Israel will be returned to the land after seventy years in exile.

“But when the seventy years are fulfilled, I will punish the king of Babylon and his nation, the land of the Babylonians, for their guilt,” declares the Lord, “and will make it desolate forever.13I will bring on that land all the things I have spoken against it, all that are written in this book and prophesied by Jeremiah against all the nations. 14They themselves will be enslaved by many nations and great kings; I will repay them according to their deeds and the work of their hands.” (Jeremiah 25:12-14).

FULFILLMENT:
539 BC:, Cyrus the Mede conquered Babylon, the most powerful nation in the known world. In 516 BC (after 70-years in captivity), the Jews were returned to Jerusalem where they rebuilt the walls and temple.

536 BC: – Babylon was conquered in 538 BC by Cyrus the Persian (Mede) and never rebuilt. (Isaiah 13:20)

EGYPT

580 BC: Egypt will be destroyed and never rule other nations –

“It will be the lowliest of kingdoms and will never again exalt itself above the other nations. I will make it so weak that it will never again rule over the nations. 10“This is what the Sovereign Lord says: “I will put an end to the hordes of Egypt by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon.” (Ezekiel 29:15, 30:10)

FULFILLMENT:
548 BC: Exiled Pharaoh struck a deal allowing people to return to Egypt (source: Nebuchadnezzar Inscription Annals of Babylonian kings).

From 548 BC until its annexation into the Roman Empire in 30 AD, Egypt diminished in power. Once one of the mightiest nations in the known world, Egypt has never again ruled over any nation.

MESSIANIC

725 BC: Messiah will be born in Bethlehem;

“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.” (Micah 5:2)

FULFILLMENT:

(1 AD)
“And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger” (in Bethlehem) (cf. Luke 2:7 (KJV); Matthew 2:1-12; John 7:42)

MESSIANIC

740-700 BC: Messianic Mission

Israel scattered; then restored as a nation in one day

700 BC: “For the days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will restore the fortunes of my people, Israel and Judah, says the Lord, and I will bring them back to the land that I gave to their ancestors and they shall take possession of it” (cf. Jeremiah 30:3 NRSV; also: Deuteronomy 4:27-31; 30:1-5; Amos 9:8-11; Ezekiel 34:13; 38:8, Isaiah 66:8).

The unprecedented May 15,1948 restoration of Israel as a nation in one day after not existing as a nation for two thousand years, with its people and culture scattered throughout the earth. .

END TIME

Dispersed Jews returned to Israel (from Russia and Ethiopia)

800 BC: “… and say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land” (Ezekiel 37:21). cf. Isaiah 11:1, 43:6, Zechariah 3:8; Deuteronomy 4:27-31).

The return of millions of dispersed Jews (particularly from Russia and Ethiopia) to Israel starting in the 1980s. This unique sign further affirms the first two signs and that “the end is near, even at the door” (Matthew 24:33, Mark 13:29).

U.S. airlift of Ethiopian Jews to Israel in 1984 and 1991 (Ethiopian Jews separate for 3,000 years!)

FULFILLMENT:
1948 Hebrew a dead language until 1948; No nation has ever recovered a lost language.

90-percent of Israel’s Jews are proficient in Hebrew. In 2013, there were 9 million Hebrew speakers worldwide.
